Ihor Kharatin, the 23-year old Ukrainian is to play at Ferencváros from January. He played with Petrjak and was a player of Rebrov before.

FTC’s football division is joined by Ihor Kharatin from Zorya Lugansk. The 23-year old midfielder is well-known by Sergey Rebrov as Kharatin had his professional debut under his coaching in 2014. He also knows Ivan Petrjak, they played together at Zorya.

Harating played throughout the fall season, in 16 league, one Ukrainian Cup and four Europa League matches.

Ihor Kharatin was born in Mukacheve February 2, 1995. He plays central midfielder and joined Karpaty Mucheve at the age of seven. Soon the scouts of Dynamo Kyiv noticed his talent and signed him in 2004. He had his debut at the first team in 2014, under the coaching of FTC’s current head coach Sergey Rebrov. He became Ukrainian champion with the team but in order to play more, he later was loaned out to Metalist Kharkiv, where he had eight appearances.

In season 2016/2017 he joined Zorya and became a regular. In his first season, he played in 19 league games, one Ukrainian Cup and another four Europa League matches. These international matches included the ones against Feyenoord, Fenerbahce and Manchester United. In his second season he noted 29 league and 6 EL matches, where he even scored against Athletic Bilbao.

These two seasons his team landed in the fourth and third position. In the current season he has already had 16 league matches with two goals and one assist, with another four EL-games. Before he has been a member at the Ukrainian U17, U19, U20 and U21 teams.

Kharatin counts as a derby-specialist: he scored on the home and away games against Dynamo, and three times against Shahktar Donetsk.
