Nagy Dániel to sign

The management has not stopped the hard work to form a strong team for next season. After signing Tomislav Havojic and extending Ralf Zumdick’s, Philipp Bönig’s, Busai Attila’s and Vladan Cukic’s contracts, the board came to agreement today with the 23 years old Nagy Dániel.

Nagy Dániel started playing football at the age of five at Góliát in Gödöllő, then played at Goldball and Újpest. His good performance raised the interest of Hamburg’s scouts, who offered him with a contract when being 16.

First, Nagy played at the U17 and U19 teams and then he moved up to the reverse team of Hamburg. The 181 cm tall player has played some training matches in the first team, too, but left to Osnabrück in 2012 where he played regularly.

In season 2012/2013 Nagy was a core player at his German team, scored three goals and gave six assists. This year he duplicated last year’s performance: he scored three times and gave six assist at the fifth team of the German third league. On top of his league performance, he scored two times in the German Cup series.

Previously Nagy played in the Hungarian U17 and U21 national side.

This year Nagy has been chosen to be in the dream team of his league. Two teams were bidding for him, Lech Poznan and Ferencváros and the 23-year-old player chose our club finally.
