15 goals in the cup in Szarvaskend
Yusuf scored 4, Arzani and Gólik 3 each, Abu Fani 2, and Makreckis, Gartenmann, and Levi scored 1 goal.

Our Hungarian championship title-holding and UEL main table men's soccer team began its campaign in the 2025/2026 MOL Hungarian Cup on Saturday, September 13, as guests of Szarvaskend, which plays in the Vas County First Division. Robbie Keane sent the following line-up to the pitch: Gróf – Makreckis, Gartenmann, Cissé, Nagy B. – Júlio Romao, Zachariassen, Kanikovszki – Levi, Yusuf, Arzani.

First half

The home team started the match, but Fradi quickly took control and created the first chance in the 6th minute. With a calm goal from Makreckis we took the lead in the 12th minute (0-1). In the 15th minute, Szarvaskend also threatened, with Niksz stepping out between Cissé and Gartenmann, but his shot missed the goal. Arzani then hit the target, but Esztergályos saved with his foot.

In the 22nd minute, Yusuf played a through ball to Arzani, who tried to pass the ball back to the second wave of attackers from the baseline, but Esztergályos got in the way and made the save, just as he did a minute later on Zachariassen's shot. In the 23rd minute, Barnabás Nagy threatened from outside the box, but Esztergályos pushed the ball heading for the top corner out for a corner. In the 29th minute, Yusuf received a very accurate pass and went one-on-one with the goalkeeper, making no mistake and cleverly shooting into the bottom right corner with his left foot (0-2).

Our team continued to dominate, regularly appearing in front of the home team's penalty area, but the final passes and shots were not accurate. In the 38th minute, Levi finally shot a rebounded ball into the empty goal (0-3). Moments later, Fradi scored again: Arzani beat the Szarvaskend goalkeeper (0-4).

Second half

Robbie Keane made two changes during the break: Ádám Madarász and Abu Fani came on, while Júlio Romao and Kanikovszki remained in the dressing room.

After the break, it took less than a minute for Ferencváros to get their first shot on goal, with Arzani's shot being saved by Esztergályos's foot, then Zachariassen's corner being cleared by Szarvaskend's defense. In the 52nd minute, Levi played Yusuf through, who unselfishly passed to Arzani arriving in the middle, and the Australian winger slotted into an empty net (0-5). In the 56th minute, Yusuf found himself one-on-one with the goalkeeper and cleverly placed the ball into the bottom left corner with his left foot (0-6). Four minutes later, Abu Fani found himself in a good position, and our Israeli midfielder showed no mercy (0-7). Substitute Gólik also had a chance to score, but Esztergályos made an amazing save to deny our young debutant.

In the 63rd minute, we were awarded a penalty for handball. Gólik stepped up to take it, and although Esztergályos saved the shot, he couldn't get to the rebound (0-8). Moments later, Arzani scored for the third time (0-9), then after a corner, Gartenmann, wearing the captain's armband, slid the ball into the goal (0-10), but as soon as the match resumed, Yusuf converted Levi's cross (0-11). The chances came thick and fast, and with them Fradi's goals, first Abu Fani scored the twelfth (0-12), then Gólik the thirteenth (0-13). Five minutes before the end of regular time, Yusuf scored his fourth and his team's 14th goal (0-14), and finally Gólik also scored a hat trick (0-15).

Our men's soccer team thus won 15-0 as guests of Szarvaskend in the third round of the MOL Hungarian Cup, advancing to the next round of the series.
