ÁDÁM BOGDÁN LEAVES FERENCVÁROS
The national team goalkeeper defended the FTC goal between 2020 and 2023.

Ádám Bogdán and Ferencváros are parting ways, as the former goalkeeper will not start the new season with the Ferencváros men's football team. The 21-times Hungarian national team goalkeeper strengthened FTC between 2020 and 2023, and he played a total of 35 matches for the club, including all the series and the pre-seasons.

Ádám Bogdán made his FTC debut in a MOL Hungarian Cup match on 19 September 2020, when he played as a guest of Ráckeve. He later played in one more cup match and five league matches, and was a substitute in the 2020 UEFA Champions League semi-final. He celebrated a league title at the end of his first season and, after a five-year break, was invited to the Hungarian national team for the postponed 2021 European Championship, where he defended the goal in a pre-season match against Ireland.

In the following season, 2021/2022, Bogdán defended in seven league and three cup matches, as well as one UEL group game, and was also named captain for five of those matches. The goalkeeper also celebrated another league gold medal and a MOL Hungarian Cup win - the first of his career.

Last season, Ádám Bogdán played in three league games, two cup matches and a UEL qualifier, helping the club to a UEL last 16 appearance and the 34th league title in FTC's history. Our club did not renew his contract, which was due to expire at the end of the season.

We thank Ádám Bogdán for his work for Ferencváros and wish him all the best for his future career!
