The squad of Ferencváros is now strengthened by the 26-year old Slovakian Michal Skvarka. The two-times Slovakian champion and one-time cup winner signed his contract on Wednesday at FTC-MVM Sports Center.
Following the first years in his professional career in Zilina, Skvarka also played at Zemplin Michalovce, Zlate Moravce and at Zilina again in the past seven seasons. This is the first time in his career when he will play abroad.
In his last season Skvarka played 26 games as capatain at MSL Zilina. In these matches he scored 10 goals and gave 9 assists. With this, he became the best performing player in the entire league. In the Slovakian domestic cup series, he had a 6/6 assist result.
Our new signing has an outstanding performance when it comes to goals and assists: in 219 Slovakian first league matches, he has a 44-goal and 51-assist record. Skvarka also played on 12 Europa League matches with 2 goals and 2 assists on his scoreboard.
