Following Oleksands Zubkov, another Ukrainian midfielder joins Ferencváros: the 22-year old player arrives from Shakhtar Donetsk.
Ihnatenko was born March 13, 1997 in Zaporizhya. He started playing at the local team Metalurh and had his debut in 2015 against the then team of our head coach Sergei Rebrov, Dinamo Kiev. After two seasons he signed over to Shakhtar Donetsk where he mostly played at the youth team, then at Mariupol. He was a team mate of one of our other new signings, Zubkov.
The 189 cm tall Ihnatenko has played 38 first-league and 14 cup games so far, where he gave one assist and scored once. He has also played once in the U21 Ukrainian national team.
