TRANSFER FROM THE DANISH LEAGUE
Danish Cup winning Nigerian player Tosin Kehinde joins Ferencvaros.

Ferencvárosi Torna Club signed 24-year-old Nigerian winger Tosin Kehinde on Wednesday. Below we present the newest member of our men's football team!

Biography

Tosin Kehinde was born on 18 June 1998 in Lagos, Nigeria's largest city. His first club of note was no longer a club from the Africa, but Manchester City, from where he moved to city rivals Manchester United in the summer of 2013. He played for United until 2018, when he left England five years ago to sign for Portuguese U23 side Feirense. In his first season in Portugal, he only played a single game, and another change came when Tosin Kehinde joined Danish club Randers FC, first on loan and then permanently, from the 2019/2020 season. It was also a step up in the Nigerian's career, as Randers were already counting on him in the senior ranks.

In Kehinde's first season in Denmark, he played in 28 matches in all competitions, scoring two goals. In the following season, 2020/2021, he played 34 games for Randers, scoring three goals and providing eight assists. He also won the only title of his career as a member of Randers' 2021 Danish Cup-winning team.

The next step in the Nigerian's career was an international cup appearance, which came in the 2021/2022 campaign. Kehinde played for Randers in the UEFA Europa Conference League, where he gained experience in a total of eight matches. He scored six times in 42 appearances for Randers this season and also provided a further eight assists.

Kehinde played 25 games for Denmark last season, scoring two goals. Thanks to his performances in recent years, Transfermarkt estimates his value at €1 million. He can be counted on by Ferencváros head coach Stanislav Cherchesov to play on the wing or even as a centre-back.
