Ferencváros Torna Club exercised their option, so Péter Baráth, who spent the 2022/2023 spring season on loan at our Hungarian champion team, is now permanently a player of FTC. This means that the 21-year-old midfielder will start next season as well in green and white!
Péter Baráth, who was raised in the youth team of DVSC, was transferred from Debrecen - on loan with an option - to Ferencváros on 14 February 2023. He made his debut in a competitive match on 12 March against Puskás Akadémia, and since then he has been given the opportunity to play in seven more league matches, making him a member of the champion team of Ferencváros.
Having finished the autumn semester in third place in Debrecen, he won gold and bronze medals in the same season!
The midfielder arrived as a one-time Hungarian national team player, but was also invited by the national captain Marco Rossi to the national team squad for the European Championship qualifiers in June.
