The postponed derby from Round 20 was played tonight at Szusza Ferenc Stadium. Unfortunately, there could not be any supporters in the stadium this time, but it was still refreshing to see live matches, especially a derby again.
We took a very aggressive first 15 minutes and scored in the seventh minute by Boli, who finished a really nice attack with the involvement of many of our players. After the goal Újpest became more initative and created more chances: in the first half they caused danger a number of times, even hit the crossbar once, but did not manage to equalize. Then, after turning, the match became more balanced once again and our players showed more creative attacks. All attempts were stopped however by the goalkeepers, and the result remained unchanged. With today’s victory, we have now nine points of advantage on the standings.
