Confident victory against Kisvárda
Nagy, Ötvös, and Yusuf all scored as we beat Kisvárda 3-0 at home in the Fizz League.

Our defending champions and 36-time Hungarian champions men's soccer team hosted Kisvárda at home in the 16th round of the Fizz League. Interestingly, the two teams also played each other on Thursday, with us winning 1-0 in Kisvárda in a rescheduled match from the 5th round. In Sunday's match at Groupama Arena, our head coach Robbie Keane put his trust in the starting lineup of Gróf - Cissé, Raemaekers, Szalai - Makreckis, Ötvös, Levi, Zachariassen, Nagy B. - Yusuf, Varga.

First half

In the 8th minute, Yusuf won the ball inside the opponent's penalty area and then teed up Zachariassen with a superb move, whose shot was saved by Popovics. A minute later, Yusuf found himself in a shooting position after a pass from Levi, but the Kisvárda goalkeeper was able to make another save. In the 11th minute, we took the lead! Makreckis shook off his defender with a spectacular dribble, then passed to the center, where Barnabás Nagy arrived and fired a powerful shot into the goal (1-0)! In the 15th minute, Gróf saved Bíró's close-range header.

In the 21st minute, we were awarded a penalty when Varga was brought down inside the box. Bence Ötvös confidently converted the spot kick (2-0)! In the 26th minute, Matanovic shot over our goal. In the 26th minute, we scored our third goal! Yusuf attacked his defender, got the ball, sprinted towards the goal, and then curled it into the net with a superb move (3-0)! In the 42nd minute, Yusuf, who had been playing very actively throughout the game, found himself in a good position, but his shot narrowly missed the Kisvárda goal.

Second half

In the 50th minute, Chlumecky's attempt missed our goal. In the 63rd minute, Robbie Keane made his first substitution, sending Madarász onto the pitch to replace Zachariassen. In the 64th minute, we came close to scoring our fourth goal: after a scramble in front of the goal, the ball fell to Varga, but the Kisvárda defenders made a last-minute save. In the 66th minute, Levi's long-range shot missed the visitors' goal. In the 71st minute, Robbie Keane made a triple substitution: Pesics replaced Varga, Joseph replaced Yusuf, and Júlio Romao replaced Cissé.

In the 72nd minute, Makreckis ran down the right wing and passed to Pesics, who shot on the volley but missed the goal. In the 84th minute, Popovics made a brilliant save after a long-range shot by Levi. In the 85th minute, we welcomed a newcomer: Csongor Lakatos made his debut for Fradi's senior team, replacing Szalai. There were no further incidents, and we won 3-0 to remain at the top of the table!
