Defeat with last minute goal
Ferencváros was close to a draw against Juventus but left the pitch without points

The UEFA Champions League Group stage continued today with our team’s derby against Juventus away. Our team played bravely and created the first attack by the 15th second. It was not by luck as the Fradi players continued their offensive play and took the lead in the 19th minute: Tokmac went on the wing, centered to Uzuni who finished the attack. Of course, Juventus was not satisfied with the Hungarian lead, and controlled the ball more in the next periods. Cristiano Ronaldo did not have many chances but he used the one in the 35th minute very well: he shot unstoppably from 24. In the second half we aimed at keeping the result, being ready to take advantage of counter attacks. This seemed to work well and aside from the two shots that came back from the goal post, the game was balanced and we kept the result up until the very last minute. Then, with its continuous pressure, Juventus created one last attack that Morata headed to the goal. Dibusz could almost save it, but in the end the ball ended up in the net.

The draw away against Juventus was so close, but we had to leave Italy today with a 2-1 defeat.
