Ferencvárosi Torna Club came to agreement with Dénes Dibusz, goalkeeper of the first team and the Hungarian national 11.
Dibusz signed to Fradi from Pécs in 2014 and soon became the first goalkeeper in Thomas Doll’s team. Later he received a rival – Dávid Gróf – but even so the line-up started in Sergei Rebrov’s team most often with his name.
Dibusz has protected our goal on 184 league games, 26 times in the Hungarian Cup and another 30 times on international matches.
He has won two Hungarian league titles with Fradi, in season 2015/16 and 2018/19. He also collected three domestic cup titles between 2015 and 2017 and another two Super Cup titles.
The superb saves Dibusz has performed have significantly contributed to the international performance of Ferencváros in 2019: he saved a penalty gainst Ludogorets away and if it had not been for him, we would not have been able to protect our lead in Moscow either. In March he even reached his 100th clean sheet against Kaposvár.
Dibusz has played nine times in the Hungarian national team, participated in the EURO2016 matches, and was the goalkeeper on the stadium opener of the new Puskás Stadium against Uruguay.
After 2022, Balázs Borbély will once again join Ferencvaros, potentially opening a new chapter for our club.
