We played our last warm-up match at our training camp in La Manga, Spain, against Danish side Midtjylland. Robbie Keane sent out the following starting lineup: Gróf - Cissé, Raemaekers, Szalai - Cadu, Zachariassen, Júlio Romao, Kanikovszki, Nagy B. - Levi, Yusuf.
First half
In the 11th minute, Levi threatened but failed to find the net, then Kanikovszki shot from 13 meters towards the top right corner, but Olafsson saved. A few minutes later, the Danes took the lead when Castillo broke through our defense and calmly shot into Gróf's goal (0-1). Midtjylland remained more active after that, Szalai had to make a header save on a chance by the northerners, then in the 34th minute, our defender slid in on the other side, not missing by much, but the ball did not find the goal.

Second half
We made our first substitution in the 54th minute, with Mariano Gómez, our winter signing, replacing Szalai. A few minutes later, Levi's free kick from 20 meters narrowly missed the goal. In the 75th minute, Gruber just missed a promising pass. We made a double substitution: Ádám Madarász and Mohammed Abu Fani came on, while Kanikovszki and Yusuf left the field. Madarász immediately tested Olaffson's abilities, but the Danish goalkeeper was able to save. In the final minutes, Gróf had to deal with the situation, as Uhre slid into our goalkeeper while also trying to get the ball, which was not a pretty sight. In the 90th minute, Mariano Gómez equalized with a header, scoring Fradi's first goal of 2026 and making the final score 1-1.
