As the championship draws to a close, the 30th round of the season has reached one of, if not the most important matches for our men's football team, as Ferencváros host the second-placed Puskás Akadémiá in the Groupama Arena. Head coach Robbie Keane fielded the starting line-up of Dibusz - Gartenmann, Cissé, Szalai - Makreckis, Júlio Romao, Maiga, Tóth, Civic - Varga B., Pesics in a match that was crucial for our 36th league title. Before the kick-off whistle, the crowd applauded Aleksandar Pesic, who received the HSA Player of the Month award for the first time.

First half

Dibusz had to make a save early in the second minute after Colley's weak shot. In the 6th minute Szalai shot on goal from a corner, the rebound put Cissé in position, but Pécsi saved. In the 17th minute, Tóth crossed the ball into the middle and put Varga in a great position, whose attempt was saved by the goalkeeper. Shortly afterwards, Dibusz won a duel with Zsolt Nagy, while Varga's slide was saved by Pécsi. In the 42nd minute, Gábor Szalai scored an unlucky own goal to give Felcsút the lead (0-1). The first half ended with few real chances and the visitors in the lead.

Second half

At the break, Robbie Keane made one change: Maiga was replaced by Abu Fani. We came close to an equaliser after Varga's header, but Pécsi saved again. Not so in the 52nd minute, when Varga's shot was cleared by the Puskás defence, but the ball rolled into the goal (1-1)! Immediately afterwards Colley's header was pushed over the bar by Dibusz. We made a change in the triker position in the 56th minute, with Pesics replaced by Saldanha. There were sharp moments in front of our goal, Zsolt Nagy and Colley could shoot, but the ball left the pitch. Saldanha then attempted to score from distance.

In the 61st minute Abu Fani's pass was cleared to Alex Tóth, the opponent's goalkeeper had to dive to block. In the 73rd minute Makreckis was mixing it up on the right, his cross was not well taken by Civic's header. Three minutes later, Kerezsi hit the post, but it was an offisde. Tóth Alex came off in the 77th minute, replaced by Kristoffer Zacchariassen. A dangerous cross came in the 83rd minute, Zachariassen headed just over. Our fourth change arrived: Civic went off, Traoré came on. In extra time, we had a dangerous shot on goal, but the ball bounced over the ground. Then Saldanha got a great ball and was in position, but couldn't get the winning goal.

The draw left the two teams three points clear at the top of the table with three games to go.
