UEL draw: Group G and reaction from the head coach
The groups of EL were drawn on Friday, FTC is in Group G!

Our men's football team defeated the Kosovan, Lithuanian and Czech champions in the 2021/22 Champions League Qualifiers, and got into the playoff round, in which the Swiss champions got the best of us. We made it into the Europa League group stage though and were waiting for the draw from Pot 4.

After the European Football Association's draw Friday, the question marks straightened up.

We got three rivals: from the first pot the German Bayer Leverkusen, from the second the Scottish Celtic, and from the third the Spanish Betis next to Ferencváros in the "G" group.

The 1st round of the UEL group stage will be held on 16 September. Additional game days: September 30, October 21, November 4, November 25, and December 9. The exact schedule will be determined later.

Check out the reaction of our head coach, Peter Stöger on VIDEO!
