In the 29th Round of the Hungarian men’s football league the current first and second team played against each other tonight at the Groupama Arena.
We took the lead immediately: Tokmac scored with a curved shot from 18 in the 7th minute. The offensive start really brought its return. Fifteen minutes later MOL Vidi equalized: Huszti’s shot came back from the goal post, right in front of Nego, who did not miss it. Another happening in the first half was a red card for Vidi: Hadzic brought down Tokmac and received his second yellow card in extra time. He made Vidi’s job for the second half utterly difficult.
After the break our players slowly started dominating over the opponents, but in the 58th minute Haratin turned the result with a superb header from Isael’s corner. Then, in the 69th minute Lanzafame stood behind the ball for a free kick with 23 meters distance: his shot flew in to the net without the goalkeeper being able to reach it. Finally, in the 92th minute Vidi lost the ball and Lanzafame could launch himself and finished the attack calmly, creating the final 4-1 result.
With this wonderful victory our team has 11 points advantage four rounds before the end of the season!
