LISZTES DOUBLE AND DRAW AGAINST FEHÉRVÁR
We played a 2-2 draw with MOL Fehérvár in the OTP Bank League.

After the Hungarian men's national football team's great qualifying campaign for the European Championship, club football is back in the spotlight. Our defending champions took to the pitch at the Groupama Arena to take on rivals MOL Fehérvár FC right after the national team break. In the 25th round of the domestic points chase, our head coach Stanislav Cherchesov shuffled the cards and sent out a starting line-up of Dibusz - Botka, Knoester, Kovacevic, Abena - Vécsei, Esiti, Zachariassen - Traoré, Gojak, Sagal.

A találkozó előtt került sor a HSA Hónap Játékosa díj második átadójára, amelyet szurkolóink szavazatai alapján Dibusz Dénes érdemelt ki, aki a Ferencvárosi Torna Club elnökétől, Kubatov Gábortól vehette át az elismerést.

First Half

The away team started the game, but after a bad pass we threatened in the second minute, when Sagal's shot into the short bottom corner was saved by Kovács. A minute later Sagal's cross was saved by the visiting goalkeeper. In the 7th minute, Stopira gave Székesfehérvár the lead after a corner (0-1).

After the unexpected goal, we managed to change the rhythm, Traoré centred, Botka came down on the long side, but the visiting defence got there at the last moment. In the 12th minute, Zachariassen's left-footed bomb found the back of the net for Fehérvár. Five minutes later Sagal's cross was missed by millimetres by the diving Traoré. The Chilean winger was moving around the pitch in great style, repeatedly causing trouble for the Bese-Kastrati duo, but his shot in the 18th minute went over the top.

In the 24th minute, Gojak's corner was headed towards the goal by Abena but Kovács saved. We created a series of chances, in the 30th minute Zachariassen shot into the side netting after a brilliant pass from Traoré, and a minute later the Norwegian hit the post. On the other side, Schön scored in the last minute of the first half's extra time, but the referee disallowed the goal after a lengthy video review.

The first half saw a stream of chances, but the visitors scored from a corner, and the teams went into the break with a 1-0 lead.

Second Half

We made two changes at the break, Baráth and Lisztes replacing Esiti and Botka. The latter could have scored immediately, but shot over from close range. In the 54th minute Amer Gojak was replaced by Tokmac. Two minutes later the visitors also threatened, but Flores' shot missed the target.

In the 60th minute, after a left-wing attack, Sagal shot the ball long and Lisztes arrived to equalise (1-1). It was the young winger's first goal for Ferencváros. Seven minutes later, Baráth spotted Sagal moving into the empty area behind Bese, but the Chilean failed to hit the ball well. Two minutes later, Tokmac, returning from injury, threatened but his shot missed the goal, and after a clever ball-catching Lisztes scored his and his team's second goal (2-1). We celebrated a Krisztián Lisztes goal last time in 2011, when the father of the today playing Krisztián Lisztes scored against Újpest. We managed to keep the lead until the 80th minute, when Makarenko headed a forward ball into our goal (2-2). In the injury time Abena also scored, but the referee disallowed the goal because of a handball, so the final score turned out to be 2-2. As Kecskemét lost, our lead at the top of the table increased to 9 points.
