FRENCH LEAGUE CUP-WINNING DEFENDER SIGNED
24-year-old French defender Ismail Aaneba will continue his career at Ferencvárosi Torna Club.

Our defending Hungarian champions and UEFA Europa Conference League group stage participant men's football team has been further strengthened after signing 24-year-old French centre-back Ismail Aaneba.

Introduction

Ismail Aaneba was born on 29 May 1999 in Mantes-la-Jolie, 52 km from Paris. He started playing football in 2008 at the age of 9 for FC Mantois, where he spent almost 10 years. In January 2017, he signed for Strasbourg B, where he immediately became a regular starter, playing 1,170 minutes in 13 matches. His talent immediately caught the eye and a year and a half later, in the summer of 2018, he joined the club's first team.

He spent 3 years with Strasbourg's senior team. He won the French League Cup with his team in 2019. In 2021, he changed teams again and joined Sochaux, where he played 67 matches. He scored no goals but noted two assists.

In February 2018, he made his debut for the French U19 national team and two months later he was given a chance to play for the U20 national team.
