It has already been the 5th round played today in the Hungarian first division of men’s football. Ferencváros has a busy playing schedule so head coach Peter Stöger made some changes in the lineup compared to the weekday’s match against Young Boys.
We created promising chances in the first minutes but Debrecen scored the match’s first goal, from their first chance: the former FTC player Ugrai finished an attack from Dzsudzsák’s pass. We could have equalized almost immediately but Uzuni’s lobbed shot was saved from the goal line. Our dominance grew over time and in the 39th minute we made it even: Mak dribbled into the box and scored to the top left corner. In the second half we received two penalties: the first one was converted by Ryan Mmaee but the second was missed by Tokmac. The missed penalty did not take our spirit back, we scored soon again: Dibusz launched a counter attack that Mak finished confidently. Five minutes later we scored the decisive goal: Laidouni powerfully headed the ball into the net from Ryan’s crossing. The final result was create by Ugrai, who scored his and Debrecen’s second goal in the 90th minute.
Fradi stood up from the disadvantage and defeated DVSC easily. This has been the second victory of our team in the league this season.
