Gala against MOL Fehérvár
Ferencváros won easily with 3-0 over MOL Fehérvár FC at the Groupama Arena.

Round 13 turned out to be rather favorable for Ferencváros as neither rivals – Puskás Academy and Kisvárda – could collect three points, so Peter Stöger’s team hoped for a victory over Fehérvár to increase the difference in the standings.

No matter the national team break, our players continued where they left after the last match against Kisvárda (4-0). In the 10th minute we already celebrated our first goal, Zubkov received an accurate crossing and finished the attack after a calm dribble. Although Fehérvár created occasional danger on our side of the field, our defense stood strong and we could build several counter attacks. We raised our advantage exactly this way: Laidouni launched Ryan Mmaee who sprinted through the field and scored. This has been the 7th goal of Ryan in the season.

After half time the younger Mmaee almost scored once again but his shot was blocked by the Fehérvár defenders. In the 58th minute another chance opened for him but instead of finishing the attack himself, he served Uzuni who only had to pass the ball to the net. We almost made the difference equally big as against Kisvárda but Laidouni missed a penalty in the 79th minute.

With today’s win we stepped three points away from Felcsút and eight points from Fehérvár. We also scored the most and received the least amount of goals this season so far.
