Our defending champions will spend their first summer training camp in Bad Radkersburg, Austria, from 15 to 22 June. Stanislav Cherchesov's side played their first training match in Gornja Radgona, Slovenia, against NK Roganska, newly promoted to the Slovenian first division. Our team played with the starting line-up of Varga Á. - Kaján, Cissé, Knoester, Civic - Esiti, Mercier, Gojak - Marquinhos, Pesics, Zachariassen.

First half

In the 2nd minute we were immediately in a promising position, Mercier's curved free kick was followed by Zachariassen's header just wide of the goal. We had more possession in the first ten minutes, with the game taking place in front of our opponents' penalty area, but no major chances were created.

In the 14th minute, Ádám Varga had to come out of his goal, after a set-piece and a shot bounced off him. Three minutes later, Marquinhos made a great move to pass to Pesics, but our new signing could not create any chances. Marquinhos then dribbled and both Cissé and Gojak had shots blocked.

In the 20th minute, Gojak's long range effort was saved by the goalkeeper and then the Slovenian's header went over our goal. Marquinhos and Pesic then combined an attack, the latter's shot was blocked. Slovenia then had a chance to shoot from an acute angle, with Ádám Varga on the ball but his shot was inaccurate.

In the 37th minute another Slovenian attempt came, this time closer but it was also wide of the target. Towards the end of the first half Pesics was hit on the shoulder, in serious pain and had to come off the pitch, replaced by Ryan Mmaee. Then Zachariassen collided with the opposing goalkeeper, the goalie also had to be nursed. In the 45th minute, Ádám Varga had to save again. In extra time, Mercier's cross was deflected past the goalkeeper by Zachariassen, but the ball bounced off the post. The teams went into the break with a goalless draw.

Second half

Four changes for the second half: Tosin Kehinde, Stjepan Loncar and Tóth Alex came on, Anderson Esiti, Eldar Civic and Xavier Mercier went off and Dániel Radnóti replaced Ádám Varga in goal. Kaján would have looked for Marquinho with a throw-in, but was cleared by the defence. In the 59th minute, Ádám Halmai came on for Kristoffer Zachariassen and Bálint Katona came on for Marquinhos. Knoester's pass home was dangerous soon after, but Radnóti cleared from the goal line.

In the 70th minute, Loncar's low shot went wide. Kehinde also had a go in the 73rd minute, scoring from a corner. Balázs Manner also came on for Amer Gojak and had a chance to shoot, just wide of the goal. Stanislav Cherchesov made a couple of substitutions in the injury time, but the result remained the same: neither team could find the net, so we ended the first pre-season match of the training camp in Austria with a 0-0 draw.
