
Callum O'Dowda, a 30-year-old Irish midfielder, has been added to the 36-time champions' men's football team.
After Cadu, Bence Ötvös, Barnabás Nagy, Daniel Arzani, Jonathan Levi and Toon Raemaekers, O'Dowda is our seventh summer signing.
The footballer was born on 23 April 1995 in Oxford, England. He is left-footed, 180 cm tall and can play in the middle of midfield or on the left wing. He made his senior debut for English club Oxford United in 2013, before which he was brought up in the club's academy. He netted 12 times in 87 league games for Oxford United's first team.
In 2016, he signed for Bristol City, where he played 160 league games and scored eight goals. In July 2022, he joined Cardiff City. In the 2024/25 English second division season, he appeared in 42 matches, scoring two goals and assisting three.
O'Dowda made thirty-one appearances for the Irish national team, scoring one goal. Transfermarkt, the German market value portal for players, estimates his market value at €1.2 million (HUF 481 million).
