Pascal Jansen, who managed the 35-time champion Ferencváros men's football team from the summer of 2024, is to be bought out by a group of companies that owns one of the world's leading football clubs. FTC asked for and received a substantial sum for the outgoing coach.
Jansen's assistant coach, Leandro de Almeida, who won 4 league titles in 9 years as a player at FTC, will take over temporarily. Leandro worked with Fradi's second team from 2020 to 2023, after finishing his career, and since 2023 he has been strengthening the club as an assistant coach. The team will start their pre-season in January with Leandro at the helm.
The team's goal remains the same: to progress in the Europa League, win the championship and the Hungarian Cup.
We thank Pascal Jansen for his work for FTC and wish him all the best for his career overseas!
