Our football team has signed the Norwegian national team midfielder Kristoffer Zachariassen. The 27-year-old midfielder comes to us in great form, as he was the top scorer last season in his team, Rosenborg. He also managed to pull off the most goals this season as well (the league has a spring-autumn system in Norway). He's scored eight goals already in 12 games, and has recently accomplished a hat-trick. Thanks to his excellent performance, Zachariassen was also able to make his debut for the Norwegian national team in June.
After Tokmac Nguen, Franck Boli, and Henry Wingo, Kristoffer Zachariassen is the fourth football player we have signed from the Norwegian league.
The 180-centimeter-tall, mostly offensive player, Zachariassen can be used both in midfield and at the sides. He was born on January 27, 1994, in Sotra, western Norway, in the Vestland region.
Zachariassen was signed by Sarpsborg 08 FF in January 2017 and he made history with the team as he played in the Europa League group stage with them. In the Europa League group stage, his team achieved five points behind the Belgian Genk, the Swedish Malmö and the Turkish Besiktas, but that was not enough to proceed into the next round.
Zachariassen played an important part in the historic success, scoring three goals and two assists in the qualifiers and group stage matches.
