We usually play international matches on Thursdays, but on December 4, we made up for a league match that had been postponed due to an international match. Our men's soccer team, which has won the championship 36 times, took the field as guests of Kisvárda in a make-up match from the 5th round of the Fizz League.
Barnabás Varga, who missed the match against Puskás Akadémia, was back in the starting lineup, while Dávid Gróf started in goal, as Dénes Dibusz had a minor finger injury, so Robbie Keane did not include the Hungarian national team goalkeeper in the squad as a precaution.
With the penalty goal of Ötvös, our team secured an important 1-0 victory in Kisvárda and moved to the top of the table. The action continues on Sunday, December 7, at 5 p.m. at Groupama Arena, where the two teams will face each other again in Round 16 of the Fizz League.
