As is well known, our men's football team, 36-time Hungarian champions, lost a close battle against Azerbaijan's Qarabag in the Champions League play-offs, so we will compete in the Europa League main draw in the 2025/26 international cup season.
Friday's UEFA draw revealed that our team will face Glasgow Rangers, Ludogorets, Panathinaikos, and Viktoria Plzen at home, while away they will play against Fenerbahce, Genk, Nottingham Forest, and Salzburg.
UEFA released the exact schedule this evening: our team will start against Plzen of the Czech Republic on September 25 at Groupama Arena, then after trips to Genk and Salzburg, Ludogorec will visit us again. Then, at the end of November, we will visit Fenerbahce, followed by a home game against Rangers. In January, Greek side Panathinaikos will visit us first, and then we will close the league stage at Nottingham Forest's home ground.
