THREE POINTS FOR US FROM SANTA CLAUS IN MEZŐKÖVES
Ferencváros won 2-0 away to Mezőkövesd.

On Wednesday 6 December, Santa Claus Day in Hungary, we played our posponed fourth round match at the home to Mezőkövesd. Dejan Stankovic voted this time for a starting line-up of Dibusz - Wingo, Aaneba, Cissé, Civic - Besic, Gojak, Zachariassen - Marquinhos, Katona - Lisztes.

First half

In the fifth minute, Besic's long-range shot was saved by Piscitelli, and at the other end Dibusz had to save a home attempt. Drazsics then tried a long-range lift, but to no avail. In the 12th minute, Kristoffer Zachariassen took the lead for Fradi (0-1) after a counter-attack starting with Lisztes. A few minutes later, Besic shot wide from distance but it went over. We were very close to a second goal, Zachariassen pounced on a ball and after his cross, Gojak had a chance to shoot into an empty net, but the ball was blocked by a home defender. In the 37th minute, Cseri surprised Dibusz with a powerful shot from inside the penalty area, the ball even dribbled in the air, but our national team goalkeeper could catch it. Six minutes later, Katona's corner almost turned into a goal, but the goalkeeper had to save the shot.

Second half
Lisztes had the first chance in the second half, but could not find the net. In the 57th minute, Drazsics was centimeters wide at the other end, and a few minutes later only the goalpost helped us out. It was time for a fresh start, with Katona replaced by Mohammed Abu Fani and Lisztes replaced by Aleksandar Pesic, who hit the net two minutes later, but unfortunately from outside. In the 72nd minute, Pesic made a superb start for Marquinhos, who didn't even stop at the goal and scored the very reassuring second Fradi goal, firing a beautiful shot into the far corner (0-2). Our goal scorer wanted to return the "loan", he passed the ball perfectly to Pesic, whose ball under the crossbar was bravely saved by Piscitelli. In the dying minutes, Péter Baráth and Cristian Ramírez came on for Besic and Civic respectively. In the 89th minute Dibusz had to save Molnár's free kick. The scoreline was nontheless unchanged as Abu Fani missed a chance in the last moments of the game.

After our victory we are second in the table behind Paks, and on Sunday at 18:00 we will be the guests of Paks in the 16th round of the NB I.
