The fixtures for the first qualifying round of the 2026–27 Europa League were drawn on Tuesday at UEFA’s headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.
It was already known before the draw that Fradi would enter as a seeded team, and its opponents would be one of the following six clubs: Slovakia’s MSK Žilina, Serbian silver medalist Vojvodina of Novi Sad, Universitatea Cluj of Cluj-Napoca, Slovenian side Aluminij, Irish club Derry City, and Icelandic club ÍF Vestri.
Our team was ultimately paired with Vojvodina, the runner-up in the Serbian league.
The first leg of the tie will be played on July 9 away, with the second leg taking place on July 16 at Groupama Arena. UEFA will announce the exact kickoff times for the matches at a later date.
On Wednesday, June 17, the pairings for the second round of qualifying will also be drawn. If we advance, we could face such formidable opponents as Besiktas or the Dutch club Twente.
