Our defending champion men's soccer team took to the field at DVTK's home ground for the last championship match of 2025. Head coach Robbie Keane sent Gróf, Makreckis, Cissé, Raemaekers, Szalai, O'Dowda, Kanikovszki, Tóth, Madarász, Varga, and Yusuf onto the pitch, with 18-year-old Ádám Madarász making his first start for our senior team.
First half
Acolatse's shot was the first chance we could record, but Raemaekers cleared the attempt, while on the other side Yusuf could have taken advantage of a lapse in the home defense. Varga intercepted a weak back pass and made a good return, but Yusuf's shot was blocked by Babos's foot. Tóth then had a chance to score, but Sentic was able to save. In the 11th minute, at the end of a quick home counterattack, Acolatse dribbled past Makreckis in front of the box and passed to Saponjich, whose shot was easily saved by Gróf. Shortly afterwards, Yusuf found himself in another good position, but Sentic was able to save Tóth's shot.
In the 28th minute, Yusuf headed the ball down to Varga, who tried to put it in the net, but it went over. On the other side, Acolatse beat Makreckis on the left wing, and Gróf had to save the ball that bounced off Cissé with his foot.

Second half
DVTK was the first to create a chance in the second half, with Gróf having to clear a dangerous cross. In the 57th minute, we took the lead through Gábor Szalai. After a cross from the left, Cissé shot the ball into the middle, where Szalai made a superb connection with his foot (0-1). Acolatse had a chance to equalize when he lobbed the ball towards Gróf's goal, but it hit the crossbar. In the 68th minute, we made our first substitution, with Lenny Joseph replacing Yusuf. In the 74th minute, Szalai found himself in position again, but his shot was blocked. A few minutes later, Varga had a free header, but Sajbán, standing on the goal line, managed to clear it. In the 81st minute, Joseph could have sealed the match after a great pass from Kanikovszki, but Sentic saved our striker's shot with a diving save.
There were no more chances, and our team won 1-0 in the last match of the year.
