
Attila Osváth, a right-back who has played three times for our national team, is joining our club from Paksi FC.

Following Argentine Mariano Gómez, Dutch Elton Acolatse, Croatian Franko Kovacevic, and Máriusz Corbu, Hungarian national team player Attila Osváth is joining our club. The three-time Hungarian international, who is most often used as a right-back, comes to Ferencváros from Paks.
Attila Osváth was born on December 10, 1995, in Veszprém. After playing for junior teams in Balatonfüred and Veszprém, he made his senior debut with the NB II team of the county seat, Veszprém. When the club was relegated from the Western group of the second division at the end of the 2012-13 season, Osváth became a player for neighboring Balatonfüred.
He spent one season on the shores of Lake Balaton, then signed with the SZTK-Erima team in Szigetszentmiklós. He made his top-flight debut in 2015 with Vasas, winning the bronze medal in the league with the Angyalföld-based club, while in the Hungarian Cup, he reached the final with the team, where they lost 5-4 on penalties to us.
He spent the spring of 2017 on loan in Debrecen, then played for Puskás Akadémia between 2017 and 2019. He moved from Felcsút to Paks in 2019, where he became a key player for the club. He played a total of 201 matches for the Tolna-based team, scoring seven goals.
He made his debut for the Hungarian national team on March 20, 2025, in a Nations League playoff match against Turkey. He was then sent onto the pitch by national team coach Marco Rossi in a friendly match against Azerbaijan on June 10 and in a World Cup qualifier against Armenia.
After 2022, Balázs Borbély will once again join Ferencvaros, potentially opening a new chapter for our club.
