Biography

Ádám Halmai was born on 17 July 2001 in Budapest. Through his father, Gábor Halmai, he came into contact with football at an early age, becoming a registered footballer of Pomáz Focisuli at the age of eight. After four years he moved to the Vasas youth team, where he played until 2017. He then moved to Szombathelyi Haladás in the west of the country, before playing for Illés Akadémia in the Youth Champions League (60 minutes in two matches).

After two seasons in Szombathely, he transferred to Fehérvár, where he made his debut in a MOL Hungarian Cup match on 21 September 2019. He was loaned from Székesfehérvár to Budaörs in the second division, where he played 13 games in half a season, scoring two goals. He then played again for Fehérvár, before returning to Budaörs and then to ZTE in January 2022.

Finally, in July 2022, he signed for "little Fradi", the Soroksár team managed by club legend Péter Lipcsei. He became an immediate starter for our youth team, and in the 2022/23 season he played in 29 league games, scoring 15 goals and becoming the team's top scorer.

In January 2023, he travelled with the defending Hungarian champions to a training camp in Spain, where he put on the Fradi jersey for the first time in a 2-0 win over Augsburg. After that he played against Piast Gliwice and then Viktoria Plzen.
