We lost to Puskás Akadémia
Our men's football team lost 2-1 at home in the league match against Felcsút.

Our 36-time champion men's football team hosted Puskás Akadémia at Groupama Arena in the fourth round of the Fizz League. Head coach Robbie Keane made significant changes to the team that took to the field mid-week. Compared to the midweek Champions League victory against Ludogorets, there were ten changes, and we lined up with Gróf – Botka, Cissé, Szalai, Cadu – Levi, Keita, Nagy B. – Zachariassen, Pesics, Gruber. The refresh was necessary, as we have a very important Champions League match against Qarabag of Azerbaijan in the play-offs next Tuesday.

First half

In the third minute, Barnabás Nagy sprinted down the left side and crossed the ball into the middle of the box, but Gruber's shot was saved by Szappanos, and Levi's follow-up went wide. Keita also came close to scoring, but after a great run, he kicked the ball straight at Szappanos. Shortly afterwards, Levi had a chance to score, but the visitors' goalkeeper saved it, as well as the follow-up. In the 18th minute, Gróf had to make a save from Markgráf's header, but Puskás Akadémia capitalized on their next chance, with Lukács powerfully striking the ball into our goal from a sharp angle on the left corner of the box. Fortunately, we didn't have to wait long for a response, as Cadu equalized after a cross from Levi on the left, scoring his first goal for our club (1-1).

Shortly afterwards, Barnabás Nagy shot from distance, but Szappanos saved. At the other end, Fameyeh shot wide. Pesics then tried his luck, but Szappanos saved again, and Keita's excellent shot was also denied by the visitors' goalkeeper. There were no more goals, so the teams went into the break with a 1-1 draw.

Second half

We made one substitution during the break, with Barnabás Varga replacing Pesics. Puskás had the first chance, but Maceiras failed to find the target. On the other side, Gruber tried his luck, but his shot also went wide. This was followed by further substitutions, with Keita, Zachariassen and Gruber leaving the field and Alex Tóth, Bence Ötvös and Lenny Joseph coming on. In the 67th minute, Levi shot from distance, but Szappanos saved again. In the 71st minute, Puskás Akadémia took the lead again, with Lukács scoring once more (1-2). Shortly afterwards, Daniel Arzani replaced Botka. In the final minutes, our team mobilized all their strength to equalize, but the visitors held their ground. In the 85th minute, Szappanos saved Arzani's free kick, then Levi's close-range attempt. However, there were no more goals, and our team lost 2-1 to Puskás Akadémia.

Our team will next take the field in the Champions League play-offs against Azerbaijan's Qarabag next Tuesday at 9 p.m. at Groupama Arena.
