In the 24th minute, Civic received his second yellow card for a foul and was sent off by the referee, leaving us behind by a man. Even with ten men we tried to stay on the attack, and after Alex Tóth's cross Barnabás Varga headed onto the goal.
We had a penalty in the 30th minute, Vallejo was fouled. The penalty was taken by Barnabás Varga, who calmly shot into the right side of the goal (0-1)! Second half
Neither head coach made a substitution at the break. But then, at the start of the second half, Robbie Keane made a change, replacing Raul Gustavo with Gábor Szalai. Sanicanin shot from 7 metres but Makreckis was able to block. In the 55th minute, Traoré's cross was met by Alex Tóth inside the penalty area, but our 19-year-old midfielder could not find the net. Three minutes later, Makreckis raced down the right flank and his dangerous cross was saved by the Diósgyőr defenders.
In the 63rd minute, Vancas' shot was blocked by Cissé and the ball avoided the goal. In the 72nd minute, Robbie Keane made a double substitution, replacing Keita with Júlio Romao and Barnabás Varga with Saldanha, who had been playing with ten men since the middle of the first half. After a cross from Vancas, Skribek shot but missed the target. In the 77th minute, Alex Tóth's pass was followed by Saldanha's strike, but he couldn't get a shot off.
In the 85th minute, Traoré tricked his way inside the opponent's box and shot with great power, but the attempt missed the goal of Diósgyőr. After that, neither side created any major goal-scoring chances and our team drew 1-1 with DVTK.
