This has been another successful year for Ferencváros: our men’s football team played first in the Champions League group stage, then won the championship for the 32nd time. Today, we closed this fantastic season with one last match against Honvéd. We played good from the kick off and several players were close to scoring already in the first minutes. At the same time, it was Honvéd that managed to take the lead, just before half time. In the second half, head coach Rebrov changed some of the players, and substitute Sigér, Boli, Kharatin and Isael all added to the team play – we became more active and put growing pressure on the Honvéd defense. This lead first to an equalizer by Isael in the 83rd minute, then a few minutes later Boli scored the last goal of the season and the winning goal for today.
Ferencváros is champion for the 32nd time and closed the season with a point record, with 78 points.
