Ferencvaros’ men’s football division signed Roko Baturina from Dinamo Zagreb. He spent the previous season at NK Bravo in Slovenia.
Introduction
Roko was born in 2000 and raised in the youth teams of Hajduk, later at RNK Split U17. He showed his talent here to such an extent that Dinamo Zagreb signed him. He spent only one season at the under-19 team of Zagreb then was called up to the reserve squad.
In season 2019/20 he played 13 matches and scored five times and with this performance NK Bravo from the Slovenian first division decided to loan him for the spring season. This loan period proved useful for both the club and Baturina as he fit well in to the Slovenian league, played regularly and scored 8 times in 16 appearances on top of 2 assists. With his contribution, his team in Ljubljana finished in 6th position.
Baturina had his debut in the U15 national team against Slovenia in 2015. The next day he already scored his first national goal against the USA which later was followed by two goals against Mexico and Japan.
He later played for the U17, U18 and U19 teams as well, in the latter he scored one goal in 12 matches so far.
