The league final in the women football league is played until one of the team has two wins. In the first leg FTC won 3-2 over MTK with a lucky goal in the end, and our team prepared for the return game confidently. Already in the first half our team scored twice making MTK’s situation almost hopeless. Even this lead was extended in the 66th minute by Csigi, to which Nagy could answer one minute later. However, the result did not change in the last twenty minutes leading to winning the championship title this year again!

Balázs Dörnyei (head coach): - We controlled the game and played better than last week. I corrected my mistakes too and the changes worked out pretty fine today. I am very proud of the two Hungarian girls, especially the young Kocsán who decided the game, because often we are said to be winning games only due to having foreign players.

Pál Orosz (CEO, FTC): - I am very happy and credits to everyone who had given something to this triumph. It has never happened before that both the champion and the cup winner in both the men and women leagues became the same club. We don’t have to play for the Super Cup this way. We hope to go as far as possible in the international series.
