
In the Women’s Handball Champions League FTC-Rail Cargo Hungaria hosted the German champion, SG BBM Bietigheim in Dabas. The 2500 spectators saw a match today where the opponents only arrived with 11, nominated 10, and sent on court only 9 players. By the starting whistle basically all German field players were on court. In the first 20 minutes the teams went head by head but by half time FTC reached a 6-goal advantage. The difference only grew in the second half, when Gábor Elek’s team scored another 17 goals while the away team only 14. This way FTC won 31-22.
