We loaned a midfielder from the Argentine championship
Gaston Lódico from the third-best Argentine team is joining Ferencváros.

Our football team has signed Gaston Lódico on a loan from Club Atlético Lanús from the Argentine championships. The 21-year-old football player can be the strength of Ferencváros primarily in the midfield. Lódico left the third-best Argentine team to join Fradi.

Gaston Lódico was born on the 28th of May, in 1998 in Avellaneda. He first started playing football for 18-time Argentine champion and 1-time Libertadores Cup winner Racing, but then he joined Lanús at the age of ten.

The past years have been successful for Lanús,  winning both the Argentine Championship and the Argentine Super Cup in 2016, and a year later they played in the final of the Libertadores Cup (South America's largest cup). Lódico made his debut in the professional team shortly after, in the 2017/18 season. During his first season, he appeared on 14 games, scored once and gave one assist. He also played twice in the Argentine Cup and in the Copa Sudamerica (the latter is the second-largest cup in South America).

During their last season, he also appeared on the pitch 14 times.
